Networking and academic event in Bogota, Columbia with BBS presence

The Hungarian Embassy in Bogota, Columbia organized a networking and academic event titled “Destino: Hungary” for Colombians who graduated from Hungarian universities where Dr. Gábor Réthi, our professor from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting was also present.


The Hungarian Embassy in Bogota, Columbia organized a networking and academic event titled “Destino: Hungary” for Colombians who graduated from Hungarian universities where Dr. Gábor Réthi, our professor from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting was also present.
This year 42 Colombian students received the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship and they were also invited to join the event
In the Casa Grau Museo Enrique Grau Memorial House, Ambassador Zsófia Villegas-Vitézy and First Deputy Dr. András Beck greeted the invited guests, then, in addition to tasting Hungarian wines and food, Dr. Gábor Réthi (Budapest Business School) and Dr. Ildikó Szegedy-Maszák (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana) held the academic lectures. Finally Sarita Ruiz, a member of Alumni Hungary, gave an inspiring account of her Hungarian university years. The former students’ strong connection to Hungary is a great motivation for the new scholarship holders who will arrive in Hungary shortly.
