The team of the Lámfalussy College for Advanced Studies team arrived home from Canada, where they successfully completed the obstacles assigned to them at the 2022 LazICC case study competition.
This weekend was all about analyzing tourism markets at the Smith Travel Research Share Center as part of the 2022 STR Global Student Market Study Competition. On Saturday, November 19, the final teams of the bachelor’s courses, and on Sunday the master’s courses were competing. Both days started with a welcome from the STR vice-president, followed by the presentation of the international expert jury. In a 30-minute presentation, the finalist teams presented their results which is the outcome of almost three months of preparation.

Our Year 2 students on the English-language BA Communication and Media programme had the opportunity to attend a guest lecture by Dr Orsolya Gantner, Head of Legal for Citi Hungary and CE5 Cluster Legal Head on November 7th. The lecture covered a variety of legal and business topics, including bank operations from legal perspective and internationalisation of operational processes.
On 9th November, 70 students from the Belgian Thomas More University visited the Faculty of International Management and Business at Budapest Business School.
Almost 200 students from 35 countries attended the Orientation Lecture of Budapest Business School, which was organised on 1 September at the Reception Hall of our Markó street Campus.

Almost 20 students from five countries spent two weeks at the Summer School of Budapest Business School and they investigated a very exciting project.
During the Summer School participants had the opportunity to gain a uniquely global perspective by getting an insight into both the local and international businesses’ operations.

The Hungarian Embassy in Bogota, Columbia organized a networking and academic event titled “Destino: Hungary” for Colombians who graduated from Hungarian universities where Dr. Gábor Réthi, our professor from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting was also present.
