Each institution was selected to join the cohort by the PRME Secretariat from a pool of strong and diverse applicants. Budapest Business University is the only university in the cohort from Hungary. |

BBU Delegation at Europe's Largest International Higher Education ExhibitionEurope’s largest annual international higher education exhibition took place in Rotterdam between September 26-29, 2023, where Budapest Business University represented itself with an independent stand and a delegation of 5 people. Over 6,700 visitors from a hundred countries attended the 33rd EAIE Conference and Exhibition this year to discuss the internationalization of higher education, hear about best practices at the conference, and build new relationships in the Dutch port city. |

The Campus Visit of Hunan University of ChinaOn October 10th, a seven-person delegation from the Chinese Hunan University visited our university to start negotiations regarding a bilateral partnership between our institutions. Founded in 976, the prestigious university is one of China’s oldest higher education institutions, with approximately 36,000 students. Both parties expressed their intention to cooperate in the fields of education and research during the friendly negotiation, as well as emphasized the support of academic publication and exchange programs. |

Chinese Partner to Visit BBUOn September 21, representatives of BBU’s strategic partner, China’s Southwest University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), visited the university. Since 2021, BBU has a cooperation agreement with the higher education institution that possesses international accreditations from AACSB, EQUIS and EFMD, and which is also one of China’s leading universities in the field of finance and economics. So far, the Chinese side has sent nearly 30 self-funded part-time students to BBU. |

Recently, the strategic alliance jointly applied for nearly 6 million euros in support for the joint development of education, research, innovation and services to society within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme’s call for proposals of the European University Networks. |

BBS team took second place in the STR international tourism market analysis world competitionThis weekend was all about analyzing tourism markets at the Smith Travel Research Share Center as part of the 2022 STR Global Student Market Study Competition. On Saturday, November 19, the final teams of the bachelor’s courses, and on Sunday the master’s courses were competing. Both days started with a welcome from the STR vice-president, followed by the presentation of the international expert jury. In a 30-minute presentation, the finalist teams presented their results which is the outcome of almost three months of preparation. |
