On 9th November, 70 students from the Belgian Thomas More University visited the Faculty of International Management and Business at Budapest Business School.

Students of the partner university and BBS students worked on a project online before the visit and they finalized it on site. The topic was related to sustainability and the Hungarian capital: How can cycling be made more popular in Budapest? Belgians traditionally have an admiration to cycling and the latest world champion of road cycling, Remco Evenepoel is also Belgian. So, Hungarian students could learn from real cycling addicts.

During the pre-judging, 5 teams were selected, who presented their plans during the meeting. The group was welcomed by professors of the Marketing department, who evaluated the materials together with foreign colleagues.
Before the presentations, a sustainability specialist gave a lecture on the economic aspects of Sustainable Cities.
We are looking forward to the next visit of Belgian students in 2023.
